New Elected Leaders, New Direction

  Friday, Nov. 16
1 - 2:30 p.m.

It is a matter of days before learning who will lead our great state, lead our education system and determine congressional and Senate seats that will ultimately define the future of California and the nation. Once the votes have been tallied and the dust has settled, you have the unique opportunity to join us for a timely post-midterm election discussion featuring former California Assembly Speaker Fabian Núñez, who now works as an election analyst and partner at Mercury, a public strategy firm. Núñez will react to election results and provide insight on how California's and Congress's new leadership will influence the cradle-to-career educational pipeline -- from early childhood to K-12, to post-secondary education and into the workforce. And we want your reactions! Come be a part of this lively discussion.

This council meets most second Fridays of the month, 10 - 11:30 a.m. at the L.A. Area Chamber.
