At Thursday's Energy, Water & Environmental Sustainability Council members were joined by Martin (Marty) Adams from Los Angeles' Department of Water and Power, and Uduak-Joe Ntuk from the City's Office of Petroleum and Natural Gas Administration and Safety. Adams, LADWP's Chief Operating Officer, discussed the challenges LADWP faces both in-basin and across the states it draws power from as it transitions to a 100 percent renewable portfolio. He assured the council that LADWP is absolutely committed to ensuring reliability while it reaches its goals. Ntuk, L.A.'s Petroleum Administrator, updated the council on the City's top priorities for the Office of Petroleum and Natural Gas Administration and Safety. Its top three priorities are the forthcoming health setback report, annual inspections of well sites and modernizing the Office's operations and well inventory. SEE THE PHOTOS.
