Volunteer Opportunities with the Chamber

You have the skills. We know you do. You use them every day. And we’re so glad you do!

So why not share them to help others?

Through our L.A. Youth at Work program you can help students learn the interview, resume writing, and professional etiquette skills they need to succeed in today’s workforce!
It’s simple. It’s fun. And together, we’re providing a job well done.

Take a look at the various, upcoming volunteer opportunities, and if you would like to join us, please register here!

Work Readiness Certification

Volunteer to serve as a mock interviewer. Through this opportunity, you can work one on one with youth and give them feedback on their interview skills, resume and professional etiquette. For many students, this is the first interview experience and will serve as the basis for their career!

 Job Skills Workshops

We are in need of certified facilitators and host sites!

You will review a rigorous curriculum of employer expectations in order to help a young adult get an entry-level job. Provide youth with help writing resumes and cover letters, interview tips and techniques, and discuss workplace etiquette with the them!

You must first attend a Train the Trainer session prior to becoming a facilitator. Register to attend an upcoming session.
