Since 2011, Alysia Bell has shared her time between the L.A. Area Chamber and the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). Bell leads ACCE’s Education Attainment Division, seeking to dramatically enhance the nature of business involvement in cradle to career issues at the regional, state and national level by engaging chambers, building tailored supports, and sustaining commitment. Additionally, Bell staffs the Education and Workforce Development Committee of the Regional Economic Association Leaders (R.E.A.L.) Coalition, an association of California’s most influential business and economic development entities, representing 23 member organizations and more than 15,000 employers who collectively provide more than 3.9 million California jobs.  Previously, Bell was the Vice President of Workforce Development and Administration for the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce in Dallas County, Texas, where she oversaw the education committee, education foundation, adult and youth leadership programs, and human resources function for five years. Bell held previous positions at the Los Angeles Unified School District, Southern California Edison, and was an adjunct industrial-organizational psychology professor at Pepperdine University. She earned her B.A. from the University of Southern California, where she was also a member of the rowing team, and her M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Cal State University, Long Beach. She and her husband Matt spend their free time doing CrossFit, at the beach, and with their 10-year old boxer Waffl.
