Amy Cortina works with the Chamber's Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to advance all education and workforce development program, policy and system’s change initiatives. Cortina manages the department’s fundraising and development plan, reports results internally and externally, and assists with the cultivation and stewardship of prospective and current partners. Prior to working at UNITE-LA, she supported development strategies for the Advancement Department of a k-12 independent school in Washington, DC, consulted a rural Mexican town on community development projects, coordinated western region programs for a non-profit in Los Angeles, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Cortina received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Master of International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy.
