Since joining the Chamber in 2012, Carrie Lemmon has served as the lead backbone staff for the L.A. Compact, facilitating cross‐sector strategy development and data analysis across multiple issue areas, including early childhood education, k‐12 school turnaround, business engagement in education, opportunity youth, and career pathway development. Previously, Lemmon consulted with a juvenile delinquency diversion collaborative led by the Cambridge, MA Police Department and served as the Director of Advocacy for a Kansas City nonprofit where she advanced local, state and federal policies supporting low‐income children and families. Lemmon has extensive expertise convening public, private and non‐profit institutions to drive systems change and improved student outcomes through collective impact.A native of L.A. County. Lemmon holds a bachelor’s degree from Pomona College and a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
