Ever Hilleprandt serves as Senior Manager with L.A. Youth at Work.
Hilleprandt previously served as the Senior Business Services Coordinator with the Center for Education Excellence & Talent Development at the Chamber. As Senior Business Services Coordinator, Hilleprandt cultivated strategic partnerships with private sector companies to develop paid internship and employment opportunities for youth ages 16-24. He also coordinated the Chamber’s Healthcare Sector Collaborative which seeks to create and expand innovative partnerships between workforce development training providers and businesses to train health care workers for high-demand occupations in the Los Angeles region. The Health Care Sector Collaborative has been instrumental in the development of strategic associations between educational institutions (K-12 and post-secondary institutions) and employers (hospitals and community clinics)
Prior to joining the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Hilleprandt served as the Civic Engagement and Scholarships Programs Manager with the Salvadoran-American Leadership and Educational Fund (SALEF), where he led efforts to recruit and promote SALEF’s scholarship program for Latino student at local high schools and universities. He also developed strategic partnership with local businesses and organizations to place youth 14-21 years of age in summer internships through the city of LA’s Summer Youth Employment Program. Previously, he served as an AmeriCorps Vista member with the Los Angeles Unified School District, assisting school leaders to engage stakeholders through school transformation initiatives, such as LAUSD’s Public School Choice, an initiative to turn around chronically underperforming schools. During his time with LAUSD, Hilleprandt brought over $11,000 in resources for schools, students and parents.
In 2011, through the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), Hilleprandt had the honor of serving as a Congressional intern with Congressman Xavier Becerra during his tenure with the Joint Select Committee on Debt Reduction. Hilleprandt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Los Angeles.
