Julie Salinas manages the operations and activities of the Human Resources (HR) department for the Chamber. She has more than 11 years of human resource experience, specializing in small- to mid-size organizations in both stable and start-up organizations. Her expertise ranges across the entire HR field with an expert focus on employee benefits, payroll, labor laws and developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance while meeting corporate needs.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Julie spent 20 years in office administration where she held roles as an executive assistant, marketing coordinator and office & HR manager with award winning architecture and engineering firms. Before choosing a career in human resources, Julie was studying to become an architect, but became passionate about assisting employees and businesses with their employment needs.
Julie holds two HR certifications; the PHR from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and the SHRM-CP from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She is also a California Notary and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
