RecycLA and Your Business
Friday, Sept. 15
10 - 11:30 a.m.
L.A. Area Chamber
350 S. Bixel St.
Los Angeles, CA 90017

The RecycLA program, approved by L.A. City Council in 2013, created an exclusive waste franchise system for the City of Los Angeles with the goal of moving toward waste reduction. The city was divided into 11 zones that will be served exclusively by one waste collection company. With the recent rollout of the program on July 1, this could mean major changes for the way your business handles waste, recycling and other operations. Join us for a meeting with Enrique Zaldivar, Director of the Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation, to learn more about the program, share your experiences thus far and ask any questions you may have.

We'll also share updates on the status of relevant Sacramento legislation the Chamber has been working on as the legislature concludes their 2017 session, and review the ACCESS L.A. City Hall advocacy agenda.
The Energy, Water & Environmental Sustainability Council focuses on actions to spur clean and green tech innovations, ensure cost-effective water and power delivery, and promote economic growth through sustainable, pro-jobs energy and environmental policies.
All Council meetings are open to Chamber members only. Media and guests are only allowed with prior approval.
Special Guest:

Enrique Zaldivar
