Join us for a meeting of the Energy, Water & Environmental Sustainability Council.
2018 Ballot Measures on Energy, Water and Environmental Issues
Friday, Jan. 19
10 - 11:30 a.m.
L.A. Area Chamber
350 S. Bixel St.
Los Angeles, CA 90017
Join the Chamber's Energy, Water and Environmental Sustainability Council for our first meeting of the year. We'll be taking a look at a number of items scheduled for the ballot in 2018, including a presentation from Los Angeles County about the Safe, Clean Water Program, scheduled for the November election. The Safe, Clean Water Program is a directive from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to implement projects and programs that increase water supply, provide community enhancements and increase public access to water sources.

The Council will review two June ballot measures -- SB-5, a parks, water and flood control bond, and ACA-1, which was part of the deal the legislature struck to pass cap and trade. We will also approve the Council's 2018 advocacy agenda.
The Energy, Water & Environmental Sustainability Council focuses on actions to spur clean and green tech innovations, ensure cost-effective water and power delivery, and promote economic growth through sustainable, pro-jobs energy and environmental policies.
All Council meetings are open to Chamber members only. Media and guests are only allowed with prior approval.
