Gov. Newsom's First Budget and CA's Future
Friday, Jan. 11
10 - 11:30 a.m.
L.A. Area Chamber
350 S. Bixel St.
Los Angeles, CA 90017

Governor-elect Gavin Newsom's first state budget will most likely offer a glimpse into the future. During his campaign, he touted strong support for cradle-to-career investments to ensure equitable opportunities for all. His strong commitments also come with questions about how he and the legislature will fund such priorities, all while continuing to be fiscally prudent. This is why we are convening policy and budget experts from around California to share insights on the 2018-19 budget that the governor will be releasing on Jan. 10.

Come be part of a timely conversation on what the proposed state budget will mean for cradle-to-career education.
