The 2019 Federal Landscape: Growing & Facing the Future Together
Friday, Feb. 8
10 - 11:30 a.m.
L.A. Area Chamber
350 S. Bixel St.
Los Angeles, CA 90017

The federal landscape continues to be uncertain on an array of issues important to the Los Angeles region, including a government shutdown, cradle-to-career education and immigration. As we prepare for ACCESS Washington, D.C., scheduled for March 11-13, we would like to invite you to an informative conversation to discuss the latest insight on potential appropriations to the federal budget related to cradle-to-career education, as well as the priorities some of our freshman lawmakers will take to D.C.

Speakers include Michael Yudin, principal of The Raben Group and former assistant secretary for special education and rehabilitative services at the U.S. Department of Education, and Jennie Murray, director of integration programs at the National Immigration Forum.
The Education & Workforce Development Council leads business community and educator partnerships to reform our public education and develop the 21st century workforce to successfully compete in the global economy.

All Council meetings are open to Chamber members only. Media and guests are only allowed with prior approval.
