Join the Energy, Water & Environmental Sustainability Council in April for an update from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). In February, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that LADWP will phase out in-basin natural gas operations, a pivot from the recommendations of the Once-Through Cooling study. LADWP will review the necessary next steps to achieve the new direction, costs and the changes residents and businesses can expect.

The Council will also recap the ACCESS Washington, D.C. advocacy trip and begin discussing legislation for the upcoming ACCESS Sacramento trip.

The Energy, Water & Environmental Sustainability Council focuses on actions to spur clean and green tech innovations, ensure cost-effective water and power delivery, and promote economic growth through sustainable, pro-jobs energy and environmental policies.

All Council meetings are open to Chamber members only. Media and guests are only allowed with prior approval.
