Sen. Holly Mitchell To Discuss Strengthening the Future of California's Education System
Friday, April 12
10 - 11:30 a.m.
L.A. Area Chamber
350 S. Bixel St.
Los Angeles, CA 90017

California began 2019 with a new governor and state superintendent as the fifth-largest economy in the world. With the federal landscape continuing to look obscure, California's future could not look stronger. We see great strides being taken for the future of cradle-to-career education through the proposed budget and recent appointments that will work toward a California that improves the lives and well-being of all.

Please join us for a timely discussion with Sen. Holly Mitchell and Audrey Dow, senior vice president for The Campaign for College Opportunity, to discuss the governor's proposed budget and what it means for California's educational system and future workforce.
The Education & Workforce Development Council leads business community and educator partnerships to reform our public education and develop the 21st century workforce to successfully compete in the global economy.

All Council meetings are open to Chamber members only. Media and guests are only allowed with prior approval.

Special Guest:

Hon. Holly Mitchell
California State Senator

Audrey Dow
Vice President
The Campaign for College Opportunity
