What's next for the delta?: Metropolitan Water District updates
Thursday, June 6
10 - 11:30 a.m.
L.A. Area Chamber
350 S. Bixel St.
Los Angeles, CA 90017

Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) general manager Jeff Kightlinger will join us to discuss recent developments with the organization, including the Delta Conveyance Design And Construction Authority (DCA) under a new governor, and MWD's new recycled water project in Carson. As general manager of the largest municipal water provider in the country, Kightlinger oversees water deliveries to 14 cities, 11 municipal water districts, and one county water authority. MWD serves Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties, and owns and operates an extensive water system to ensure water delivery to 19 million people.

Kightlinger will discuss what the new governor's vision for DCA means for MWD, and highlight local projects to increase Southern California's water supply.
The Energy, Water & Environmental Sustainability Council focuses on actions to spur clean and green tech innovations, ensure cost-effective water and power delivery, and promote economic growth through sustainable, pro-jobs energy and environmental policies.
All Council meetings are open to Chamber members only. Media and guests are only allowed with prior approval.
Special guest:

Jeffrey Kightlinger
