Laura Farber, the newly confirmed Pasadena Tournament of Roses president for the 2019-2020 Tournament of Roses year, who will serve in the executive leadership role for the 131st Roses Parade presented by Honda and the 106th Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual on Jan. 1, 2020, will speak on the 2020 theme "The Power of Hope" at the next Power Hour Series program. She will share her vision for the Tournament of Roses and speak on the challenge of innovating while also upholding longstanding traditions.

Farber is a partner in the Pasadena law firm of Hahn & Hahn, where she practices civil litigation with an emphasis in employment disputes. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, where she serves as the state delegate for California in the House of Delegates, chair of the Latin America and Caribbean Initiative Council, a member of the Rule of Law Initiative Board, a member of the Steering Committee of the Nominating Committee, former member of the Board of Governors representing the state of California and past chair of the Young Lawyers Division. She has also served as president of the Barristers, the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s young lawyers division.
