Paul De La Cerda, East Los Angeles College's (ELAC) dean of resource, economic development and innovation, joined Chamber President & CEO Maria S. Salinas to discuss two major initiatives of ELAC: how the college is working to prepare students for careers in entrepreneurship, and what the college is doing to create good-paying jobs and careers through education, entrepreneurship and innovation to address students’ basic needs.

City Council is taking to tackle enforcement policies against cannabis businesses operating illegally. Ruben Flores from the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) also spoke on cannabis tax policy at the state level and how this affects businesses in L.A.
