LOS ANGELES, CA — The L.A. Jobs Political Action Committee (PAC), sponsored by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, announced its endorsement today of Jim McDonnell for Los Angeles County Sheriff.
“Jim has a long record of working with the Chamber to create a safe and vibrant Los Angeles,” said L.A. Area Chamber President & CEO Gary Toebben. “He is the only candidate that brings the necessary experience to serve as CEO for one of the largest law enforcement organizations in the country.” Jim McDonnell is the only candidate for Sheriff who has run a law enforcement agency as Chief of the Long Beach Police Department.
“The L.A. JOBS PAC believes that Jim will be a true partner on critical quality of life issues facing the county. Most importantly, as someone outside of the department with a long record of integrity, Jim will be able to bring a fresh start to renew the public’s faith in the department” Toebben said.
Established in 1999, the L.A. Jobs Political Action Committee (PAC) is sponsored by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and governed by an independent Board of Directors. L.A.
