Los Angeles –  "This has been a top priority for the L.A. Area Chamber; we helped lead the charge testifying before the legislature, making the case directly to state officials, and helping to coordinate a groundswell of support from business and civic leaders." explained Gary Toebben, President and CEO of the L.A. Area Chamber of Commerce. "Film and television production creates jobs, it feeds small businesses of every kind and it generates millions of dollars in tax revenue. We applaud the Governor and all the legislative leaders who took this critical step to provide $330 million a year in tax credits over the next 5 years so that California cannot only protect its industry jobs, but be truly competitive to grow production in our state. Film and Television has been uniquely our industry for over a century; the economic vision shown today by our elected leaders will help the business sector that truly helped build California and, Los Angeles thrive."
