L.A. Area Chamber Lauds Gov. Brown for Signing Chamber Sponsored Bill, SB 1022

Los Angeles –  On Wednesday, Gov. Brown signed Chamber-sponsored SB 1022 (Huff) to empower students and their families as they make important decisions about pursuing a college education. For the first time, through this legislation, students will be able to access earnings data as they decide which program of study to pursue at Cal State and UC. Gov. Brown also signed Chamber-supported bills SB 174 and SB 798 (de León) creating the College Access Tax Credit Fund to benefit low-income Cal Grant recipients; and AB 2148 (Mulin) creating an annual workforce metrics dashboard.
