Startup LAunch helps entrepreneurs find engineers
One of the biggest hurdles for a startup is finding a CTO (chief technical officer) or a developer team to build their product. On May 30, Bixel Exchange’s Startup LAunch program hosted “Find A Developer: Startups Pitch for Engineers” with MISLA and Code District at Phase Two. The event was held to connect startups, entrepreneurs, independent freelance professionals, designers and developers of every kind from all over L.A. More than 50 attendees heard pitches from nine companies looking to hire a developer or engineer to help their startup take off. Companies ranged from early stage to venture capitalist-backed. The event featured a 2:1 ratio of founders to developers, and a great mix of backgrounds and ideas!
