Bixel Exchange explores the rapid advancement of AI with Chamber’s IT Council
The L.A. Area Chamber's Innovation & Technology Council and Bixel Exchange convened Feb. 20 to discuss the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI). Attendees heard from Niloo Bedrood, managing director for Deloitte's Advisory Practice, and Audrey Wu, co-founder and CEO of CONVRG, on AI-related topics ranging from robotic process automation and cognitive automation to bots. This year, Bixel Exchange is placing 200 diverse young adult interns at L.A. tech companies as part of our L.A. Tech Talent Challenge partnership with Mayor Eric Garcetti. This week, Bixel Exchange held first-round mock interviews to better assess the interest area of each student and to help students prepare for real-world interviews. We need help to interview students at the L.A. Area Chamber and to recommend them for a variety of internship positions. All industry backgrounds are welcome as students will be interviewing for positions in everything from software development, to IT to digital marketing and operations.
