Connecting Leaders to Drive Change Throughout California

Drought, job creation, education, immigration reform and climate change – California has no shortage of critical issues and challenges. But it also has is an abundance of opportunity.
From its large, diverse population to its deep talent pool, our State is rich with individuals who are ready to contribute to our future. So what does it take to assist them in becoming transformational leaders who are inspired to drive the change our State needs?
For years, the Chamber has been developing leaders through our Southern California Leadership Network. We know that by bringing thoughtful, engaged and knowledgeable leaders together, we can, indeed, address our State’s challenges and leverage our assets to ensure that California remains a dominant force in the global economy, as well as an extraordinary place to live and work.
In November, the Chamber will launch our next California Connections cohort. A nine-month fellowship for senior level executives, California Connections brings together leaders from throughout California to examine issues and assets, facilitate cross-sector learning and provide access to some of the State’s most important leaders. By doing so, we create extraordinary networking opportunities and allow each fellow to explore the complex issues impacting our State. Participants also develop a deeper understanding of the diverse interests and economic challenges in California.
The talented individuals selected to participate in California Connections will join with other leaders from across the State as they’re given unparalleled access to government, business and community leaders. Sessions include frank, closed-doors conversations about current challenges; and strategies for long-term impact. Fellows will take part in deep-dive seminars exploring the state’s five mega-regions and the unique challenges and opportunities they each face.
If you or anyone in your company is interested in joining this exclusive cohort of leaders, please visit California Connections to learn more. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and space is limited, so I encourage you to join this prestigious program and apply today. The future of our State and Region depends on visionary leaders who understand California and are willing to step forward. Is that you?
And that's The Business Perspective.
