Join the Chamber for ACCESS L.A. City Hall

A week from today, the Chamber will convene nearly 200 Chamber and business community members at Los Angeles City Hall for our annual morning reception with City elected leadership. It’s a great opportunity to speak directly with Council members and department staff, as well as your fellow business leaders to discuss issues of major importance to our community.

Over the course of our 130 years as the voice of business in L.A., the Chamber has spearheaded efforts to shape our City into a global leader across a range of industries and issues. We aim to continue that leadership over the next few decades by harnessing our experience and expertise to train the workforce of the future, attract investment and grow our economy in a way that benefits all who call L.A. home. As part of my first ACCESS City Hall, I look forward to sharing with our City leadership the ways in which I believe the private sector and public sector can work together to achieve a shared vision for our City for decades to come.

We’ll also be joined by economist Chris Thornberg with Beacon Economics, who will present the ninth annual Council District Economic Report. This report is a snapshot of a variety of economic and demographic indicators for the City as a whole, as well as district-by-district. It will identify potential challenges to economic growth in the future and provide context for opportunities. Councilmembers have a direct impact on projects within their districts and throughout the City; we’re proud that this report has become a vital tool in guiding policy decisions.

The Chamber’s advocacy efforts are felt at City Hall on a year round basis on issues of importance to the business community. But our voice has exponentially more impact when our members engage directly. Your presence at ACCESS L.A. City Hall, taking the time to share your stories, is a powerful signal to elected leadership and decision makers that our community is prepared to advocate, collaborate and be a bold voice for business.

I urge you to RSVP HERE today to join us.
