Gov. Gavin Newsom's Senior Policy Advisor for Early Childhood visits Educare Los Angeles at Long Beach

On June 4, Giannina Perez, Gov. Gavin Newsom’s senior policy advisor for early childhood, visited Educare Los Angeles at Long Beach to tour the space and understand lessons learned from the school's best practices. She also had the opportunity to learn about other early learning efforts across the city of Long Beach. Perez's visit to Educare Los Angeles at Long Beach was to inform state policy and the governor’s master plan for early childhood development. Formed through a public-private partnership among organizations, including the L.A. Area Chamber, Educare Los Angeles at Long Beach is committed to ensuring all children receive high-quality care and education and continues to serve as a leading institution for broader thinking on systems change as it relates to early childhood education in California.
