Health Care Council hears updates from L.A. County Health Officer

The Chamber's Health Care Council met with L.A. County's Public Health Officer, Dr. Muntu Davis, on his role at the County and priorities for the year. Dr. Davis leads a robust team tasked with overseeing critical health care system operations for L.A. County and partnering with organizations to help spread educational information on how to improve health and well-being for county residents. The council also heard from the newly launched Los Angeles County Community Collaborative aimed at creating an asset-based collaborative model to help fight the opioid crisis in L.A. County.
