Bixel Exchange launches 2019 Snap Design Academy

On June 17, Bixel Exchange, the Chamber's Center for Innovation & Technology, launched the 2019 Snap Design Academy in partnership with Snap Inc. Twenty students from Los Angeles area community colleges will participate in the second annual, hands-on academy over the next six weeks. Each student is receiving a fully funded scholarship to explore art and design through creative workshops, lectures, field trips and mentorship with Snap employees. The academy will culminate with their final showcase on Aug. 8. SEE PHOTOS from the kick off.
