Chamber partners with L.A. Better Buildings Challenge for 7th Annual Building Technology Showcase

The Chamber joined the Los Angeles Better Buildings Challenge (LABBC) for the seventh year of their Building Technology Showcase, held annually at the California Endowment. The showcase, held for the sustainable building and development community, focused on three live case study panels highlighting LABBC partners Paramount Pictures, Hudson Pacific Properties and the City of L.A. The event explored how these organizations have successfully implemented technologies to help them achieve their energy and water efficiency goals. The key takeaway: data is your most important resource and it is never too early to design sustainability into your projects.
This year's event also featured the newly launched Rebate Speed Date program, which provided an effective and fun way to connect businesses to Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) and SoCalGas rebate specialists to help them save money while maximizing building efficiency.
