Chamber visits L.A. City Hall

A delegation from the L.A. Area Chamber, representing a broad spectrum of industries, joined us for our annual ACCESS L.A. City Hall advocacy day. The Chamber presented the Los Angeles City Council with the 10th Annual City Council Districts Economic Report prepared by Beacon Economics, which highlights economic trends across the City of Los Angeles.

Our collaboration with members of the Council is strong and our message remains focused on continued collaboration. We continue to work together to find solutions that support our business community.

Our L.A. City Council Agenda:

  • Fostering public policy to support business growth
  • Increasing affordable housing opportunities
  • Supporting trade, travel and tourism – the economic drivers of our global city
  • Collaborating on water and energy initiatives for a sustainable city
  • Increasing partnerships to ensure a quality public education system from cradle to career

ACCESS L.A. City Hall 2019 provided an opportunity for a collaborative dialogue between business leaders and our elected representatives. It helped to shed light on current trends that are driving our L.A. City economy and allowed for a substantive dialogue for future collaboration.

The Chamber and the greater business community remain committed to continuing this dialogue.
