Chamber attends Coca-Cola's Community Engagement Summit

Center for Education Excellence & Talent Development

October 31, 2019

Last week, the Chamber was among 150 nonprofit organizations across the U.S. invited to join The Coca-Cola Company for their first-ever Community Engagement Summit at their North American headquarters in Atlanta. The summit featured leaders across all sectors discussing the most critical issues facing our communities including education, youth development, women’s empowerment, environmental stewardship and community empowerment. Director of Talent Development Heddy Nam attended to represent the Chamber's education and workforce development work, particularly the Smart Justice program's CORE internships. She was joined by Beth Bronder, vice president of development and partnerships at the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). In addition to engaging in the summit programming, the Chamber and ACCE were able to make meaningful connections with other nonprofit leaders to share best practices and build relationships in support of shared goals.
