Exploring Regional Talent Development at California Economic Summit

On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the Center for Education Excellence & Talent Development (UNITE-LA) co-facilitated a discussion on regional talent development at the eighth annual California Economic Summit in Fresno, CA. This gathering included private, public and civic leaders from across California's diverse regions. Nearly 160 stakeholders from across California explored ways to advance employer-centered talent development strategies within their regions, hearing best practices from regional business intermediaries including the Bay Area Council, Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC), Silicon Valley Leadership Group, Valley Vision and Inland Empire Economic Partnership.
