L.A. Area Chamber

November 22, 2019

On Nov. 22, Chamber President & CEO Maria S. Salinas joined the Inland Empire Economic Partnership and other business leaders at the inaugural Inland Empire Latino Economic & Policy Summit. Held at the Ontario Convention Center, the event was themed "A Vision of Inclusion and Economic Vitality," and explored the economic challenges and policy barriers faced by Latinos in the region and state. Speakers discussed the ways in which public policy concerning education, housing and the future of work disproportionately affects the Latino community, and advocated for policy that insures inclusive economic growth for all Californians.
