by Center for Small Business Success

The Chamber's OneLA Regional Collaborative, led by Andrea Nunn and David Betancourt, joined Isabel Guzman, Director of the Office of the Small Business Advocate in the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), and GO-Biz Entrepreneurship Task Force member Ryan Gales for a roundtable on government procurement barriers. The roundtable brought together vendors and policy makers to open a dialogue on the constraints that have limited access to opportunity for small business contractors when selling their products or services to the government. Bixel Exchange Startup LAunch Tech SBDC Director Kat Yalung and Operations & Community Manager Elianne Rodriguez also attended the discussion with three of their startup founders to share their experiences working in L.A.'s tech startup community.
The event was a part of the Entrepreneurship Task Force's listening sessions across the state to hear insights on the challenges in access to capital, markets, resources and networks, and create change at the policy level.
