Accenture Pancakes & Politics Hosts CA Secretary of State

The Chamber's first Accenture Pancakes & Politics of 2020 heard from California Secretary of State Alex Padilla. Secretary Padilla has dedicated his time to modernizing systems within his office, increasing voter registration and participation, and strengthening voting rights across the nation. Secretary Padilla led efforts to launch the California Motor Voter program which automatically registers eligible Californians to vote when they apply for a state ID or driver's license. Secretary Padilla also highlighted the new voting system being implemented in the County of Los Angeles for the March 2020 elections and answered many questions around safety, security and the integrity of the election. Attendees also learned about the efforts his office is leading across the nation to spread the ideals of fair and inclusive elections. SEE THE PHOTOS.
