On Jan. 30, the Chamber held its 132nd annual Inaugural Dinner at the JW Marriott at L.A. Live, highlighting its new strategic plan of creating "A Thriving Region for All." As part of this new strategy, the Chamber will champion economic growth, amplify Los Angeles’ position as a global center and enhance opportunities across the L.A. region.

This year's Inaugural Dinner marked the installation of 2020 Board Chair Denita Willoughby, Vice President of Supply Management & Support Services for SoCalGas. The event also celebrated Civic Medal of Honor recipient Frank E. Baxter, Chairman Emeritus of Jefferies LLC; Corporate Leadership Award recipient Citi; and Distinguished Business Leader Evan Spiegel, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Snap Inc. Additional speakers included L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, newly elected L.A.
