Chamber Shares Industry Knowledge at W.A.C.E. Conference

The Chamber's membership team joined the Western Association of Chamber Executives' annual conference to share insights on membership retention. During the "Why Retention Deserves Your Attention" presentation, Pat Clark, Vice President of Membership at the Chamber, joined Chris Romer, President & CEO of the Vail Valley (CO) Partnership, to discuss best practices for membership retention and how increasing retention rates can provide positive gains in financials. Board Member Christopher Thornberg of Beacon Economics was also a keynote speaker at the event.

The Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) focuses on education and professional development for chamber executives and staff, and represents more than 850 chamber professionals in 19 Western states and Canada. The four-day conference was held at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront.
