Last Friday, the Southern California Leadership Network’s (SCLN's) Leadership Southern California (LSC) Class of 2020 graduated. The 29 graduates spent the last nine months traveling to five counties in Southern California – Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura and Los Angeles – to learn about the issues and trends shaping the region. From agriculture and automation to homelessness and sustainability, the cohort met with leading professionals in each county, with the goal of collaborating to break barriers and find solutions to these important issues. Highlights of the program included meeting with the CEO of Metro, Phil Washington, visiting the Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability, hearing from Rancho Cucamonga, Tustin and Ventura City Council members, and visiting with the executive director of Mercy House.
