Each year, at the Chamber's annual Inaugural Dinner, we celebrate the contributions of the business community. This year marked a celebration of business leaders whose success in business and philanthropic efforts have contributed to a better Los Angeles.
Evan Spiegel, Co-Founder and CEO of Snap Inc., spoke of his commitment to addressing the homeless crisis in Los Angeles and to create opportunities for the next generation of entrepreneurs like himself.
Former Ambassador and retired investment banker, Frank Baxter, spoke of the importance of supporting our educational systems. Through his philanthropic efforts, Amb. Baxter has been a catalyst in the charter school movement. See Amb. Baxter’s video here.
Our Corporate Leadership Award was accepted by Raymond McGuire on behalf of Citi. McGuire delivered powerful remarks on the role that the business community can play to ensure that diversity, equity and inclusion have a role in business. See Citi’s video here.
The Inaugural gave us the opportunity to share our new vision, mission and strategic priorities. Simple, yet powerful statements that reflect our commitment to the Los Angeles region.
Our Vision A Thriving Region For All
Our Mission Design and advance opportunities and solutions for a thriving regional economy that are inclusive and globally competitive.
Strategic Priorities
