Bixel Exchange held the first Coworking Day of 2020 at Industrious DTLA. The afternoon was filled with workshops, networking and a pitch competition, celebrating what it means to be a startup founder in L.A. Advisor Sebastian De Vivo hosted an Objectives and Key Results workshop, challenging startups to develop concrete and achievable goals to tackle in the coming weeks. Shopify Consultant Chris Snyder taught startup founders about creating the best possible online store for their business, including the basics of marketing, the intricacies of driving traffic and converting leads into sales, all within the Shopify platform. Roberto Martinez, a Marketing Team advisor, shared his knowledge and experience in creating solid SEO practices for small businesses to make a lasting impression on the world's largest search engine, Google. During these workshops, Bixel Exchange had 12 advising sessions with their Product, Money and Marketing teams. The evening ended with Ulule’s #ActForImpact pitch competition, with 10 teams competing for a Bank of the West grant. Check out and like Bixel's Instagram post.
