People around the world waited for what felt like a lifetime to see a light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel, and we were fortunate to finally see it in the distribution of the vaccine. Now, as we face a potential outbreak of a new variant of the virus – which the vaccine also protects against – we must ensure that everyone who is eligible for it gets a vaccine.

The L.A. County Department of Public Health website has easy-to-understand information on the vaccine, as well as answers to nearly every possible question you may have. Click here to visit their website.
The L.A. Area Chamber is urging eligible residents to get vaccinated. We also rely on Angelenos to urge the ones close to them to get vaccinated until we reach sufficient community immunity. Join me in spreading the word about the importance of this life-saving opportunity, and encourage your friends and family who are eligible to make an appointment and get the vaccine.
