At the crossroads of our post pandemic recovery, we find ourselves facing challenges as businesses navigate reopening and reimagining new business models that will define the work of the future. These challenges need to be addressed to ensure that the L.A. region is economically resilient and prepared for the road ahead. For this reason, the Chamber launched The CEO Council, an advisory council to the L.A. Area Chamber made up of over one hundred CEOs, Presidents, and regional executives to foster a business environment that strengthens the region through innovative solutions and job creation under an initiative we call Balance California.
The complexities of the diverse and global L.A. regional economy requires collaborative leadership from all stakeholders to ensure its success. With leaders across industry sectors like healthcare, energy, construction, technology, and companies large and small, The CEO Council members are experts in their field who understand our competitive global landscape. They will bring their expertise to identify job growth opportunities and provide the long-term thinking that is necessary to ensure there is a sustainable plan for future economic success.
Balance California is the new strategic initiative to unify business leadership to advance discussions and policies which ensure that the region remains globally competitive. We will collaborate with government, philanthropy, academia, and community stakeholders to help create a vibrant region that works for its families and communities.
Under the Chamber’s vision of A Thriving Region for All, bringing together business leadership, policy makers, and community stakeholders, we have the potential to spark a robust economic recovery through deepened collaboration. Read the announcement here.
