Together for Tomorrow

This week, the Chamber gathered with our Inaugural 2021 sponsors, honorees, Board, and members to recognize the tremendous work of this past year, as well as the leadership of our Board Chair Raul A. Anaya. It was one of our first in-person gatherings in almost two years, and it was wonderful to see so many people, after such a challenging year, celebrate the event’s theme of “Together for Tomorrow.”  It is a signal that Together as a community, we will achieve a brighter Tomorrow

Whether in policy, where working with elected officials and policy makers is essential, or in community engagement, which ensures businesses and entrepreneurs have what they need to succeed, the simple act of coming together is what guided us through the pandemic and it is what will prepare us for the future.

Board Chair Anaya highlighted some of the important work of the Chamber, including the launch of The CEO Council, an essential effort to bring business leaders together to collaborate with government and the community to keep the region globally competitive.

He also spoke about several of our programs for small businesses, in which collaboration was key in the Chamber’s work for an equitable economic recovery. With partners from across the region, the Chamber helped launch Together for L.A., which focused on economic recovery for our small business community. This coalition continues its work to provide technical assistance and resources to the small businesses who power our regional economy.

Reflecting on this past year, there is no doubt that the partnerships the Chamber participated in, initiated, or led made a difference and helped our region take the necessary steps forward. We hope you will join us as we continue our work to achieve the Chamber’s vision of A Thriving Region for All.
