An Urgent Call for Water Conservation

At the L.A. Area Chamber, we have a deep legacy of building up Los Angeles, addressing challenges, bringing about solutions, and ensuring opportunities for all. That legacy is about collaborating with both government and the community for the mutual benefit of creating systems which work equitably.
It is no secret that California is in a historic crisis when it comes to the supply of water. This impacts our daily living and the local economy, as water is a critical natural resource to many industries which fuel our economy. This is why the Chamber convened water leaders from the City of Los Angeles, the County of L.A., and the State of California for an urgent call to bring awareness to the new emergency water restrictions and support for water conservation efforts.

Together, we showed that the business community is in agreement with our water agencies in committing to doing what is necessary to conserve water, our most crucial natural resource, for the communities of California. As Angelenos, it is imperative that we unite in our battle against the drought, and each of us, including the business community, needs to do our part.
The business community stands with our water agencies, municipal governments, and elected leadership to support efforts and policies which conserve water and bring awareness to the drought.
Each water district and agency throughout California has their own restrictions and regulations for residents and businesses to address the drought.
