Financial aid bill for foster youth passes committee

Senate Bill 150 (Beall), which improves access to the Chafee Education and Training Voucher, a financial aid program specifically for foster youth, passed the Assembly Appropriations Committee on Aug. 30 and will proceed to a vote following a third reading on the floor.
