The Chamber concluded its 2022 advocacy trip to the state capital, where we hosted a delegation of business, civic, elected, education, and community leaders from the L.A. region. Our diverse coalition was a representation of our region and the many voices who collaborate for a better California.

Los Angeles is at a political turning point. This next election will be significant to the direction of the city, county, and school districts of Los Angeles, as well as the state legislature. We have been studying and anticipating the expected transitions for almost two years, knowing that term limits and redistricting would result in the changes we are seeing today. However, while we expected to see change beginning this election cycle, we did not think it would be as significant as what we are seeing today.
