OneLA Inclusive Procurement

The OneLA Inclusive Procurement program is a two phased training program that supports local, small and diverse businesses in creating a pathway to contract opportunities. We provide business development support, training and relationship-building opportunities through live interaction and coursework to advance a more equitable, and sustainable growth.

PHASE 1: BOOTCAMP

The "Boot Camp," is an introductory session designed to guide you through the essentials of government contracting. This comprehensive workshop will cover the fundamentals of government contracting, including how to identify opportunities and how to understand and respond to Request for X (RFx) documents. Our expert instructors will provide valuable insights and practical tips to help you navigate the complexities of the procurement process.

PHASE 2: ADVANCED COURSE

The second session will be the "Intensive Course." This course will delve deeper into the topics covered in the "Boot Camp." Participants who have completed the "Boot Camp" will have the opportunity to transition into this program, where they will learn to strategize on writing proposals and putting together a budget from start to finish, culminating in a final proposal document for review. In addition to those who completed the "Boot Camp," we will welcome small businesses with experience responding to contract opportunities or those that have attempted to do so.

Annual Procurement Fair

As part of the OneLA initiative, the Chamber Foundation holds an annual procurement which connects buyers and sellers for one-on-one matchmaking and provides opportunities for small businesses to connect with larger regional enterprises.
