Gov. Brown's Final Education Budget 

Gov. Jerry Brown is looking to leave office with a burst of much needed education investments for cradle to career, promising to strengthen California's public education system. The Chamber's upcoming Education and Workforce Development Council meeting will put you in the room with individuals on the front lines demanding improvements in education. Hear from an expert panel that will shed light on California's key priority education issues, opportunities and areas that continue to need support to ensure that our most vulnerable youth have access to a quality education system. Panelists will discuss the proposed investments in cradle-to-career education, particularly for early childhood education programs, Local Control Funding Formula, innovative approaches to higher education future formulas and efforts to support formerly incarcerated youth.
