With advances in technology, cities are looking at new and innovative ways to efficiently serve, engage, and connect the public to local government while being cost-effective. Jeanne Holm, Senior Technology Advisor to the Mayor and Assistant General Manager, Deputy Chief Innovation Officer is tasked with the goal of using technology to better communicate with residents and drive innovation in transportation, public safety, sustainability and economic development. Join us for the April meeting of the Innovation and Technology Council to discuss smart cities with Jeanne, hear what Los Angeles is doing to remain on the cutting edge of technology, and how those advances can benefit and grow the business community.

The Innovation and Technology Council identifies and engages with business clusters that have economic growth potential - including signature, emerging and innovative industry groups. The Council aims to promote policies that will strengthen these industries, elevate their global reach, drive job creation and regional economic prosperity.
All Council meetings are open to Chamber members only. Media and guests are only allowed with prior approval.
