State of L.A. Business 2024

 

The coming years will provide unprecedented investment in California's infrastructure, particularly in Los Angeles. This investment will be a compelling driving force behind business growth and job creation in the region, by fueling transformative projects across various sectors. From major transportation initiatives to energy transition, these investments will set the stage for significant growth and innovation. The State of L.A. Business highlighted the importance of these investments, industry experts discussed the opportunities for businesses to engage and participate in these developments, contributing to regional growth.

California Secretary of Transportation, Toks Omishakin shared keynote remarks about his vision for the state and region. He also highlighted opportunities for the private sector to help California meet its transportation priorities.

Panelists explored the critical role of public and private sector collaboration in transforming the region.

This discussion explored the crucial role of collaboration and shared goals and efforts to expand multi-modal transportation.
  • Powering Progress: Energy for L.A.’s Future: Moderated by Kenny Seeton (CSU Dominguez Hills), with panelists Janisse Quiñones (LADWP), Hugo Mejia (Cordoba Corporation), and Shinjini Menon (Southern California Edison). Panelists shared industry trends in preparing the region for sustained growth as our energy sector evolves.
