LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors today endorsed Bernard C. Parks for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Second District. In the coming weeks leading up to the election, the L.A. Area Chamber, which represents more than 1,600 businesses in the greater Los Angeles region, will communicate with its members and partners about the significance of the Supervisors race and its endorsement of Bernard Parks.
"Both candidates are excellent public servants and both have taken leadership roles on issues important to the Chamber and our community," said Gary Toebben, President & CEO of the L.A. Area Chamber. The Chamber’s decision to endorse Bernard Parks for County Board of Supervisors was reached by the Chamber's Board of Directors at a meeting on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at noon.
